Cindy got bachelor from Fudan University. After getting master from Washington University in St. Louis, she worked at a leading U.S. financial company and managed lab in Olin Business School. In 2015, Cindy founded own lending company and made it "FinTech Five of 2016". Founding Phoenix, Cindy continues to provide full-heart dedication to borrowers and investors, using hands-on experience in the financial industry.
Garnet Andrews brings over 25 years of expertise in compliance and pension investment management to Brilliant Phoenix. As our Vice President of Compliance, Garnet plays a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing our regulatory strategies and internal control processes.
Previously serving as the Director of Investment Management at TELUS, Garnet managed pension assets and spearheaded the development of effective compliance programs. His extensive experience includes board pension committee governance, equity derivative investments, and regulatory reporting. Garnet has also contributed his insights as a member of various boards, such as the Telecommunication Workers Pension Plan Board of Trustees and Concert Real Estate Corporation.
Garnet holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accountancy) from Abilene Christian University and holds designations as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA), Certified Public Accountant (Washington State), and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM). His deep industry knowledge and commitment to regulatory excellence ensure that Brilliant Phoenix remains a trusted, compliant, and forward-thinking investment firm.
Barry has spent more than ten years working in the financing field. Barry graduated from Tsinghua University and got master of Economics from University of Toronto.
He acquired substantial experience when he worked in various departments including branch management and wealth management at CIBC and TD. He specializes in investor portfolio management and 1st and 2nd privately funded mortgages.
Having worked in the financial services market since 2012, Joyce has become a Dealing Representative in the Exempt Market in 2015. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with BBA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance.
Prior to joining Brilliant Phoenix, she provided customized corporate finance services to FinTech and Life Science companies across Canada.
Tao got Economic and Psychology Bachelor degree from Simon Fraser University.
